IAESTE Wine Trail Day 2025
Valais is not only famous for skiing and beautiful landscapes, hillsides and warm climate make Valais an exquisite wine region.
Every year in September, more than 3000 friends of good wine are hiking the wine trail from Sierre. The trail is about 8 km and hosts over 40 producers of wine. The variety of grapes makes the wines unique like their cultivation methods, which are modern and sustainable at the same time.
This event is a wonderful way to experience the natural beauty of Switzerland while indulging in its wine culture. It’s a great opportunity to explore the local terroir, learn about wine production, and enjoy the flavors of Swiss wines.
